I have this feeling that ppl think my blog is dead...so I've been going around tagging to state OTHERWISE. I forgot to mention yesterday's soccer training. We did 3 sets of lunges. Across the astro turf and back=1 set. Now my thighs jus tap pain liao.....argh. At least tomorrow can pon FDP rehearsal because of soccer. O yea! Today went to HQ NCC to do arms drills which I found surprisingly easy now that I'm used to the weight of the real rifle. It wasn't as torturous as usual and it was over quickly. I am damn screwed for Psci test...haiz. Dint play soccer today, wanted to save my energy for tomorrows match, and partly because I couldn't do much with my quart aching like I just finished whacking 500 free kicks. I have also rooted out the main two reasons why my shooting has been lacking its previous power this year:
1. My shoes used to be great for kicking as they were normal school shoes, but because of the demands of my wide feet,1 pair of my shoes is too big(uk 10) and the other pair are running shoes and thus hard to kick the ball well with.
2. My back injury. FDP has really screwed my back up. As I am typing this on a nice leather chair, it is still aching slightly. When I sit on the floor it is also pain. If you did not know, the back muscles are important in the power of your kick. I'm going to see a doctor after tournament, cos if I see now I will need to be on MC....
